It’s strange that most contestants mix with the unit quite effortlessly. While they play for money and money is important but they get so involved with the spirit of the game so much that the prize money vanishes into insignificance. Most contestants have never visited studios or watched filming but they face cameras with gusto and confidence. They are not overwhelmed with the new surroundings and ambience. I admire their comfort and dignity.
Our celebrity contestants also get involved in the spirit of the game. Humor and wit take over the initial awkwardness… Ranbir Kapoor was thrilled as he was facing the camera on R.K Studios, Stage #1, for the first time. He first paid a rich tribute to his grandfather Raj Kapoor. His first film Bhansali’s ‘Sawariyaa’ was shot in Karjat… Ranbir was mindful of the fact that his father had first faced the cameras on Stage #1 right here. Looking at Ranbir, I felt so proud. As they say, Individual talent gets inspiration from tradition and it is the individual who enriches tradition with individual efforts.

I know that in an earlier post I said that the music for GTGH isn't all that when compared to your previous movies. But I must admit that after having seen the promos on TV, I can't get the Aksa Beach song out of my head!! Guess that's the Sallu magic right there. Also, it's good to see Sohail in a movie again - he kind of dropped off the radar for a bit.
I do think that both Ranbir and Imraan Khan (check promos of Kidnap) are probably the most promising newcomers at this time. I really liked Sonam Kapoor in Sawariya - I hope she goes on to bigger things. Afterall, I'm a big fan of Anil "Jakaas" Kapoor!
I read a recent interview with you regarding the SRK thing. I agree with you when you say that it's pointless to keep up a facade of friendship on the surface but in reality you just don't get on with the other guy. If the other guy is causing you grief, it's better to put them in their place and then just move on.
I do like SRK because he came from nowhere and made it big. On the other hand, this whole "King Khan" thing and fixation with popular awards has put him in the firing line. I liked him better in his Bazigar days.
The great thing about you in that respect is that you seem to be beyond media tags and awards. I think you are the most naturally gifted actor compared to the other Khans. People see your movies because you have a very likeable personality and you do deliver. It's like you are a hero but still one of our own.
Have you seen Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Chupke Chupke? In a remake, you would be perfect in Dharmendra's role.

ps: I still want to say that Dus Ka Dum is such an entertaining show to watch and i have truly enjoyed this season fully and for me beats the South African version by far, WELL DONE to all involved.

I viewed the episode of Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif & I muat say that Akshay did quite a good job, Katrina on the other hand is not quite the smartest person of the two.Firstly she was unable to answer the questions correctly & finally when she was outed she proceeded to tell Akshay which answers to go with, what made so right suddenly after having a drought of incorrect answers but, what I found to be really ridiculous was when she told Salman that he could have give her a "little hint" on the answers, why did she think that she have gotten special preference ?,because she is the host's current fling.? And what is up with her & Akshay? by the way.She is really annoying to watch, hence the reason I don't watch her movies. I hope this comment is posted, because I believe in freedom of speech.. You were the best host ever and I was shocked at the beautiful painting of Raj kapoor you gave to Ranbir....it was beautiful. It was tooo goood...! I'm speechless!
The episode with Katrina and Akki was soo cute...Katrina's hindi is really good now. It was soo cute the way you and Katrina shared the sparkle in your eyes betwwen each other.
But, the same problem happend with kat and akki like it did with Ranbir and his gals. Both the teams won 1 lakh. But, they still played really well. Both Kat and Ranbir looked like they were gonna cry.

abut i feel that Kat has no confidence in her personality

Friday and sat both episodes were very rocking and full of entertainment and especially kat and akshay presence on dus ka dum proves wrong all rumours. Hope now every one will be in peace for a while. In both episodes we all can feel how much good relationships u were sharing with every one and there was no professional jealouly. There is no doubt Potrait of Rk was really highlight of the episode and atleast we see ur master piece.
