There are loads of reasons that helped me take a positive step. Soon, 10 Ka Dum ceased to be a format or a chat show. It became my thanks giving to millions of my fans who have showered their love and blessings to a rather reluctant star.
For last nineteen years they have been watching my films… again and again… spending their hard earned money on my films and I know that the time has come to thank them and return some of their money in the form of prizes.
Therefore for me, this is not merely a show, but my SHUKRANA…

Let me first take this opportunity to greet you on your great decision to be in the show "Dus ka Dum". I also would like to wish you and the show a great success and I hope it will be wonderful to see you anchoring there.
Through this post of mine I would like to suggest some key issues and I hope you will discuss these issues with the producers.
1. The show is about to start and we all are eagerly waiting.I have seen KBC and Paanchvi Pass and noted a major difference. KBC had a very powerful base of background music, especially when a contestant reaches to higher prize money level. Such background music is almost absent in Paanchvi Pass which gives the show a quite dull look. Please be sure about the concept and arrange inclusion of some thrilling background music in Dus ka dum.
2. Secondly, I would like to suggest and point out some key issues which are being practised by the producers to select contestants for the Dus ka dum. When I called up for registering myself for the show, I heard a recorded voice saying that if my answer is correct and if I am amongst them who will be selected randomly then I would get a callback. But in this message, no time frame of call back is given. Unlikely to KBC and Paanchvi Pass's selection procedures where after registrations, we were told some fixed time frame of 3 days to wait for a call back, and also some fixed timing, viz, 2PM to 9PM etc, no such time period is being given while registering for Dus ka dum. Hence, it is like something which is non - transparent. I hope we will be given some fixed time frame for a callback when we will register ourselves next time.
3. Additionally, after random selection, the contestant are being auditioned by the producers. Majority of people think that such auditions are only for selecting photogenic faces and to reject potential winners. If the show fails to have common face of mass in the studio rounds, then the common people will lack interest in the show. This has certainly happened with Paanchvi Pass, as they preferred the face of the contestants over to brilliance and certainly used the auditions to reject potential winners. From the episodes of Paanchvi Pass, it can be easily seen that preference is being given to them who have pretty faces and intellect is being neglected. Its a simple key to attract mass by inviting common people to the show. So, I suggest you to interfere with the selection procedures and remove the "Auditions" from it. Instead, as was in KBC, the producers may recall the randomly selected participants and may ask 3 - 4 questions on telephone, based on sample survey. And, this is a quite simple way to select contestants for the show and such a procedure may also avoid the doubts of non - transparencies of the auditions.
I hope for a considerations on my suggestions and wish again the show a great success.
